At True North Social Work we are a professional Therapeutic, Consultation and Training Mental Health Service Provider that is located in the heart of Armidale, NSW with telehealth services available nationally.
We help with mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder as well as providing clinical and behaviour support for those living with physical and psychosocial disabilities. We have a unique focus in supporting those who have been impacted by relational trauma and coercive control, families moving through post separation and experiencing parental alienating behaviours.

Meet Kate
Kate is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). Kate’s experience spans over 25 years working with both adults and children.
Throughout Kate’s career she has worked in government and non-government sectors, including business development, leadership & management, policy writing, education and her most preferred role which is therapeutic services.
Kate specialises and has extensive experience working with those who are in post separation periods, managing systems that clients or their children may be involved in and developing an understanding of the next stage in life.
Kate enjoys working with an eclectic approach and integrates a range of modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, EMDR, complex and relational trauma modalities along with clinical assessment qualifications.
